Step 1: Choose a Program

We’re thrilled that you have chosen Darshan Yeshiva to help you on your Jewish journey.

There are three conversion programs to choose from: mitzvah, chai and scholarship. Each program includes access to our free content for kids.

All of our conversion programs include online education, mentorship and conversion through the rabbi’s mikvah and bet din. The only thing not covered by our program is brit milah/hatafat dam brit and student travel.

Mitzvah Level
Best Value! Includes Conversion, Free Lifetime Access & Help Fund Scholarships

Students in our Mitzvah Level program are truly a blessing. By choosing this level, you will be giving $500 to our Scholarship Program, which pays for half of a student's program. The more students who sign up for the Mitzvah Program, the more we can lower the price of the scholarship level, making conversion to Judaism even more affordable for countless students around the world. This level includes free lifetime access to our Basics of Judaism, Judaism For Beginners, Torah Study, Comprehensive Jewish Studies, Darshan Training (Independent Study), and Kids Conversion to Judaism content.

Students can pay $2,350 or $235 per month for ten months.

Chai Level
Our most popular level, particularly amongst non-USA students

This is our most popular level, for three reasons: the price, the free classes, and the opportunity to help Darshan Yeshiva. It's less expensive than the Mitzvah level, but you still get access to some free classes for life, and a small portion of your fee goes to support our scholarship level. This level includes free lifetime access to our Basics of Judaism, Judaism For Beginners, Torah Study, Comprehensive Jewish Studies and Kids Conversion to Judaism content.

Students can pay $1,750 for the Chai level or $175 per month for ten months.

Scholarship Level
Available to students with financial need

This is our basic conversion program level. It's available to students whose incomes prevent them from participating in the chai and mitzvah programs. We encourage students who need this level to please sign up for it. However, it is important to understand this level is reserved for students who have expressed financial need (including students, single parents, etc.) This level also includes our Basics of Judaism, Judaism For Beginners and Kids Conversion to Judaism content for free.

Students can pay $1,300 one time or $130 per month for ten months.

About mentorship calls and ritual conversion
Over the course of your online learning, you will receive approximately ten conversion appointments with your rabbi via video calls. These are opportunities to talk face-to-face with your rabbi about your Jewish life, what you are learning online, etc. Don’t be intimidated! Our rabbis are here to support you, not judge you.

Once you have completed all your online learning and have gone through your conversion mentor meetings, you rabbi will work with you to schedule a time for your conversion.

Conversion rituals depend on the rabbi and his/her denominational affiliation, but usually involve a bet din (a group of fellow Jews, usually rabbis), a mikvah (the ritual bath) and for men, brit milah or hatafat dam brit. Travel to the city your rabbi serves is required for bet din and mikvah.

Not sure if this is right for you?
We recommend potential students sign up for our Judaism For Beginners program. This gives you an opportunity to see what is involved in our conversion program, the classes you would be taking, etc. There is no obligation and you can cancel at any time.
