A unique, three-part series available nowhere else online

In this series, we will answer three basic ideas: what do Jews believe, how does our belief impact how we live, and how do we connect with each other as a people?
This crash course on Jewish concepts was created to help people who have limited experience (or no experience) in Judaism to understand Jewish ideas and the Jewish people. These are your first steps toward understanding who the Jewish people are, what we believe and what is meaningful to us.

I'm so thrilled to guide you through FIRST STEPS. I had fun creating an introduction to Judaism program inspired by my time in Reform, Conservative and Reconstructionist synagogues and aligned Jewish communities. This series is ideal for someone who wants a taste of Judaism, but not the whole buffet.
Rabbi Patrick Beaulier is the Executive Director and President of the Board for PunkTorah, the parent organization of Darshan Yeshiva and Pluralistic Rabbinical Seminary. He is also the co-spiritual leader of Kehillah, a pop-up Jewish community in Richmond, Va. Rabbi Patrick received his smicha (rabbinical ordination) from Rabbinical Seminary International and his Bachelor of Science degree with a focus on business administration from the City University of Seattle.
