Personal statement
Hello, friends! I’m an accomplished spiritual leader, singer/songwriter, entertainer, Jewish futurist, social activist, and award-winning Jewish educator. Prior to moving to Florida, I served as the rabbi and spiritual leader of Temple Beth Abraham in Canton, Mass. for seventeen years. I currently serve the Palm Beach and Broward County Jewish communities as a spiritual leader and teacher while spending my summers as Rosh Musica (Music Director) at Camp Ramah Darom in the North Georgia mountains. I’m also the founder of OHEL, a new kind of Jewish community.
In addition to my day job, I’m known as “The Rock n’Roll Rabbi,” having produced six albums of contemporary Jewish music. I’m also the World Wide Reb with almost half-a-million views of my videos on YouTube. I live with my wife Heather; my daughters Dalia, Ayelet and Naomi; and the memory of my beloved daughter Liat (z’l) in Boca Raton, Fla.
