Shalom! I’m Rabbi Ileanah and like you, many years ago, I had a profound yearning for spiritual meaning. I looked in many different traditions, studied wonderful paths of wisdom, and still felt thirsty. But when I arrived at Judaism, I knew I had found my home. My ancestors were Spanish “conversos” and I came back full circle to my roots. I can understand your doubts and your joys, and together we can make this process an unforgettable experience. I’ve been blessed with the possibility of studying directly with many great sages of our times, from different traditions and perspectives, giving me a wide understanding of the many beautiful colors and manifestations of Judaism. Travel is one of my passions and it has taken me around the globe, allowing me to appreciate sparks of the divinity in each human being and the in treasures of the cultures that make our world.
My approach to teaching Judaism is holistic, integrating intellectual knowledge, experiential immersion, and spiritual transformation. I’m a passionate teacher, an eternal student, and a lover of life. My mission is to open doors of knowledge, create bridges of understanding, knit tapestries of memories, and kindle the light of the souls of those who surround me. If you choose me as your companion on this path, I’ll be honored to share my own experiences and to help you craft a very special, meaningful, and profound relationship with Judaism.
