Personal statement
Hello, friends! I’m an accomplished spiritual leader, singer/songwriter, entertainer, Jewish futurist, social activist, and award-winning Jewish educator. Prior to moving to Florida, I served as the rabbi and spiritual leader of Temple Beth Abraham in Canton, Mass. for seventeen years.
I currently serve as the Director of Youth Education at Temple Sinai of North Dade and as the Educational Director of the Institute of Jewish Knowledge and Learning in Broward County, and I enjoy spending my summers as Rosh Musica (Music Director) at Camp Ramah Darom in the North Georgia mountains. In addition, I serve as the founder of OHEL, a new kind of Jewish community.
I am also considered an “early adopter” and technologist, and I’ve produced hundreds of videos on Facebook and YouTube with well over half a million views. I share my love for technology and Torah in my weekly Torah Tech Tips videos. I live with my wife Heather; my daughters Dalia, Ayelet and Naomi; and the memory of my beloved daughter Liat (z”l). in Boca Raton, Fla.
