Personal statement
Hi, I’m Zachary, a Rabbi, Spiritual Director, and Yoga teacher. My work is for people who are looking for a Jewish life that feels rooted in their truth. I care deeply about creating space for honest questions, thoughtful exploration, and a process that feels personal rather than performative.
My life in the rabbinate has been shaped not only by Jewish learning, but also by spiritual direction and contemplative practice. That means I tend to work with people in a way that is relational and reflective, with room for both learning and inner work. Conversion is not just about reaching an outcome, it is about intentionally building another facet of yout life.
I am especially glad to work with people who may not see themselves reflected in more traditional Jewish spaces, including LGBTQIA+ people, interfaith couples, and those coming to Judaism through a nontraditional path. I believe this process should be deeply human and reflect the Judaism you are looking to embody.
